Foton eView Connect (K2): Australia’s New Electric Van and the Windows to Match

30th October 2026
Foton eView Connect electric van

There is a new electric van heading for Australian roads. The Foton K2, sold overseas as the eView Connect, has been approved for sale here, and it looks like one of the more practical small electric vans for tradies, delivery fleets and anyone dreaming of a compact electric camper. At Emprise Global we are already working on side windows for it, so you can be among the first to turn one into a camper or a people mover.

Why add windows to an electric van?

A panel van is great for carrying gear, but it is dark and closed in at the back. Adding side windows brings in natural light, lets you see out when you are parked up, and makes the back of the van feel like living space rather than a cargo box. On a camper build, a sliding window with a flyscreen gives you fresh air at night without letting the mozzies in.

Electric vans suit campers especially well. They are quiet, there is no engine heat soaking through the floor, and the big battery opens the door to running lights and appliances from the vehicle itself. Good windows finish the job and make the van a place you actually want to spend time in.

Our Foton windows are on the way

We are developing side and rear windows for the Foton eView Connect now. Like our other van windows, they are planned to be E marked tempered safety glass, bonded to the body for a clean factory style finish. We will list each window on the website with its part number and price as soon as it is ready.

If you have a Foton on order, or you are planning a build, get in touch and we will let you know the moment the windows are available. You can also keep an eye on the Foton eView Connect page, which will fill up with products as they are released.

Fitting

Bonded van windows need to be cut in and fitted properly to stay watertight and safe. We recommend having them installed by an experienced auto glass fitter or van converter. If you need help finding one near you, just ask our team.
